Privacy Policy.
Effective 2026-09-22. Last updated 2026-09-22.
VAUDERIVE operates this website with a simple principle: collect as little as possible. This policy describes what little that is.
Who we are
VAUDERIVE is the Swiss luxury group, part of Genève Holdings, and the controller of personal information collected through vauderive.com. The group's corporate home is Switzerland. Full corporate particulars, including the registered entity name and address, are published here as they are verified.
Privacy contact: [email protected].
What we collect
This website is a static publication. It does not require accounts, does not run analytics, advertising or social-tracking technologies, and does not set any optional cookies or storage.
The personal information we may process is limited to:
- Correspondence you send us. If you write to us by email, including through the contact or privacy-request forms (which open your own email application), we receive your name, email address and the contents of your message. We use it only to respond.
- Your consent choice. Your cookie-consent selection is stored locally in your own browser (localStorage, first-party, 12 months) so the site remembers it. It is never transmitted to us.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs (such as IP address, requested page and time) for security and operation. Retention follows the hosting provider's policy; the provider is confirmed before launch and named here.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, social plugins or fingerprinting on this website.
- We do not add correspondents to marketing lists. There is no newsletter on this website.
- We do not make automated decisions or profiles about visitors.
Purposes and legal bases
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation, UK GDPR or Swiss data-protection law applies:
- Responding to correspondence: our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, and steps prior to a potential contract where relevant.
- Remembering your consent choice: our legitimate interest in honoring your privacy selection; storage is strictly necessary and local to your device.
- Security and operation: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and available.
Recipients
We disclose personal information only where necessary: to our hosting provider (operation and security) and to email providers in the ordinary course of delivering correspondence. We do not disclose personal information to advertisers, data brokers or social networks, because none are involved in this website.
International transfers
Correspondence may be processed in Switzerland and, depending on our service providers, in other jurisdictions. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers outside the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we put appropriate safeguards in place and document them here.
Retention
Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and meet legal obligations. Your consent choice remains in your browser until you change or clear it. Server logs follow the hosting provider's retention policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Switzerland you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
To exercise any right, write to [email protected] or use our privacy request form. You do not need an account. We respond within the time the applicable law requires and never discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.
California privacy
VAUDERIVE does not sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit. California residents may still request to know, delete or correct personal information we hold, and may designate an authorized agent. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as opt-out requests where the law requires it; with no sale or sharing occurring, there is nothing further to opt out of. See Your Privacy Choices.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we update the date above and, where appropriate, note the change here. The current version always governs.
